Breathe regularly and deeply, relax and gaze at the picture as you meditate.

There are four steps to meditation: 1. Entering. Get comfortable, be relaxed, and breathe deeply and regularly. You can sit or lay down, whichever works for you. 2. Deepening. You can go farther inward to reach your inner soul. One way to do this is to count. Counting backward from 10 to zero while telling yourself to relax will deepen your meditation. 3. Purpose. State the purpose of your session to yourself. It works best if you do this aloud, because then your ears are involved. This allows you to focus your attention to the matter at hand. 4. Exit. As you come from meditation, remind yourself that you will be refreshed and relaxed. Give yourself a minute or two to come fully alert and back to normal brain waves.
